Sr. Extrusion Engineer

The primary purpose of this role is to support R&D new product development. This will involve: 
- Consultation with R&D regarding customer requirements 
- Performing initial development runs 
- Developing stable and capable extrusion processes 
- Generating all documentation associated with the process 
- Performing all validation activities associated with the process 
- Release of the process to the Production environment

Qualifications

3 AK Extrusion lines (with Conair waterbath & puller/cutter. Single layer, micro extrusion. Small dimensions. Very tight tolerances 

• Medical device experience preferred. Extrusion experience required. 

• Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (in that order) • 5-10 years, preferably.
