What You'll Do
Supportive Services for Veterans & Families Program Manager is responsible for the administration and management of the SSVF Program, which covers King and Snohomish Counties. The SSVF Program Manager will be responsible for the establishing policies and procedures, training staff, assistance, policies, procedures, reporting and records comply with funding requirements. In addition, responsible for administrative management and program supervision of professional staff members to effectively provide Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing services to qualifying Veteran families.
This position has a social justice component that requires critical thinking through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. Knowing the core principals of antiracism and grounding those principles in everyday work are required job skills and core values.

Expectations of your role:
Administrative management and program supervision of professional staff members to effectively provide Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing services to qualifying Veteran familiesAssist in developing program budgets and closely monitor revenue, expenses, and grant guidelines to assure program goals are achievedManages all aspects of SSVF program and department expectations, by developing project plans; communicate changes and progress; manages project team activitiesMeets all best practices, quality management, funder, and department goals; provides high-level oversight and verification that work processes and compliance needs are metAbility to gather data, analyze information and interpret information to build useful and required reports or presentationsEnsures the appropriate use of resources in planning activities – volunteers, vendors, committees, community partnersAbility to be culturally and linguistically competent in serving the needs of diverse clienteleProvides presentations to the community, the board of directors and to CRR teams regarding the services and outcomes of SSVFActs respectfully and supportively towards other team members efforts to meet the mentionSupervision: All responsibilities must be in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsEffectively manage team to ensure completion of work, high level of cooperation, and integration with other departmentsComplete and submit timely and accurate documentation; financial/program paperwork, forms, letters, surveys, reports, meeting notes, and all other required correspondence, ensuring it is according to departmental standardsFollow instructions; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to complete additional work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan
Must have's to be successful:
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS3-5 years of supervisory experience in a social services field OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field, with five 1-2 years of supervisory or lived experience. Self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy work environment Capable of reading, interpreting and applying complex data collection guidelines, and submitting timely reports effectively using required formats. Good interpersonal skills, works well with others and interacts effectively as a team member. Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and auditing experience.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance - this role is needed to drive independently from site to site.
Hours, Rate, and Benefits
Hourly Salary: $38.50 - $40.86Hours: 40 per weekExcellent benefits package including medical insurance, retirement plan, plus generous vacation, holiday, and sick leave plans.
