Staff Engineer - Fullstack

We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to design, build, and scale full-stack systems in a high-growth, product-focused environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role that combines deep engineering execution with architectural ownership and mentorship. You will play a critical role in shaping platform reliability, security, and performance while driving complex initiatives from concept to production.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design, develop, and scale full-stack features using Python across backend and frontend systems
• Lead backend development using frameworks such as FastAPI or Django
• Drive frontend development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React preferred)
• Define and own system architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, and security

Platform & Infrastructure Engineering

• Architect and implement real-time governance systems including prompt monitoring, PII redaction, and secure LLM integrations
• Build and operate high-throughput, highly available services using Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Implement secure API layers, gateway patterns, and real-time processing pipelines

Execution & Collaboration

• Own complex engineering initiatives end-to-end, from design and development to production rollout
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices across design, development, and deployment workflows

Mentorship & Engineering Excellence

• Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and elevate technical standards across the team
• Lead by example through hands-on development and thoughtful technical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4–8 years of full-stack engineering experience, with at least 4 years in startup or fast-growing product environments
• Backend: Strong expertise in Python with hands-on experience building production-grade APIs and services
• Frontend: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Systems: Experience designing API-driven, security-focused, and real-time systems
• Infrastructure: Practical experience with containerized and cloud-native environments
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI security, model governance, or LLM-powered systems
• Exposure to Rust or Go for performance-critical services
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging tools in distributed systems
