As a Staff Travel Coordinator, you will work with a team of experienced travel professionals and assist our staff with all their travel needs. Whether it's booking flights, hotels, or other travel arrangements, you will play a critical role in ensuring our internal teams have a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
- Book and manage travel arrangements for individual company employees and groups, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and other transportation services.
- Cooperate with our departments and project teams regarding destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, budgets, and accommodations.
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints, or refunds.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure proper travel arrangements meet the project plans.
- Monitor and record travel expenses, including ensuring timely payment of invoices and tracking budgets and costs.
- Doing research in the event destinations, negotiating and contracting with local and international suppliers and agencies.
Qualifications
- Commercial education in travel, hospitality, airline business, or related field.
- Prior experience in the travel industry (2-3 years).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, good management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data, including itineraries, invoices, and payment information, systematically and orderly.
- A hands-on approach, team player and troubleshooting mindset are essential.
