POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to a wide variety of structural design and investigative projects, working alongside experienced engineers and collaborating directly with clients, architects, and contractors. You'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise across multiple market sectors while taking on increasing levels of responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural analysis and design for new construction and rehabilitation projects across diverse market sectors
- Develop and review structural drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Support forensic and investigative structural assessments, including damage evaluations and rehabilitation recommendations
- Assist with parking garage design, construction engineering, and specialty structural services
- Collaborate with project teams including architects, contractors, and owners throughout all project phases
- Conduct site observations and construction-phase engineering services
- Contribute to peer reviews, code evaluations, and structural consulting engagements
- Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations clearly to internal teams and clients
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree a plus)
- 4–8 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or actively working toward licensure
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (RAM, ETABS, RISA, or similar)
- Experience with BIM/CAD platforms (Revit, AutoCAD)
- Solid understanding of applicable building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
