Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
We need a Supply Chain Engineer to own the material pipeline from mill to customer.
You will:
Source and manage relationships with aluminum suppliers
Build and maintain inventory models across alloys and product forms
Ensure DFARS, AMS, and ASTM compliance on all material certs
Negotiate pricing, manage POs, track mill schedules
Use AI tools and software to move faster than anyone in this industry
Bring new ideas for how to make the supply chain smarter and cheaper
Be super data heavy
You should be:
Cracked with AI tools, spreadsheets, and modern software
Strong at building and maintaining supplier relationships
Capable of juggling multiple priorities without dropping anything
Find stuff that people don't think exist or that they think is impossible
High agency. You handle big items alone and ask for help when needed
Organized and detail oriented
Customer obsessed. Delivery timelines matter because customers are counting on them
Low ego
Not afraid to work outside normal hours when America demands it
