The Talent Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in building a high-performing, future-ready workforce by designing and delivering programs that support employee growth, career progression, and capability development. The role focuses on aligning talent strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and enabling individuals to reach their full potential. The specialist partners with business stakeholders to identify development needs, implement scalable solutions and measure impact.
Learning Needs & Development Planning: Identify capability gaps and future skill requirements through data analysis and stakeholder engagement. Translate insights into integrated learning and development plans.
Instructional Design & Learning Delivery: Create and deliver engaging learning experiences using modern methodologies and digital tools.
Performance Enablement: Partner with P&C and business leaders to embed performance frameworks, tools, and practices that drive clarity, accountability, and growth.
Career & Growth Pathways: Support employees and line managers in navigating the people growth framework, development opportunities and learning programs.
Coaching & Development: Provide coaching and support to employees and line managers to enhance performance and accelerate growth.
Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to measure learning impact, performance trends, and development outcomes. Recommend improvements based on evidence.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with managers and leaders to align talent development initiatives with business priorities.
Previous experience of successfully implementing talent and learning programs, preferably at a global level
Instructional Design & Learning Theory – Ability to create learner-centric programs grounded in evidence-based methodologies.
Digital Learning Tools – Proficiency in LMS, e-learning authoring tools, and virtual platforms.
Performance Management Knowledge – Understanding of frameworks, goal-setting, and feedback processes.
Career Development Expertise – Ability to design pathways and programs for growth and progression.
Facilitation & Delivery – Skilled in engaging diverse audiences in both in-person and virtual settings.
Learning Content Development – Expertise in creating impactful materials and resources.
Learning Needs Analysis & Data Evaluation – Strong analytical skills to assess gaps and measure impact.
Coaching & Development – Competence in guiding individuals toward growth and performance goals.
An agile mindset with strong understand of leading dynamic programmes that evolve and change rapidly
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and communicate effectively
Strong ownership and accountability
Experience in fast paced environments, comfortable with high levels of ambiguity.
Professional certificates in learning and development preferred
English language proficiency
