Hybrid Work
HCVT currently offers a hybrid work model that allows eligible employees to work both remotely and in the office, based on business needs and team coordination. Your role and responsibilities
Provide top-level review of federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and related workpapersPerform technical research and write correspondencesLead and trains teams of staff, seniors and managersOversee planning and scheduling of engagementsCreate engagement budgets and in charge of billingsEnsure quality of work productMonitor work-flowCoordinate constant flow of internal and external communicationMaintain and develop business with existing and prospective clientsWork closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planning
To be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need
10+ years of recent technical tax experienceProficient in the taxation of partnerships, limited liability companies and other similar flow-through entities; private equity tax expertise preferredLicensed CPA or JDCapable of running mid-size to large client engagementsDemonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams and workflowsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and detail-orientationProficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., GoSystem) and other financial analysis toolsAbility to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $195,000 to $230,000.
