Job Description

Avanceon is hiring a Technical Manager – Software Solutions to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced software products in the Industrial Automation and Digital Transformation domains. The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership with hands-on expertise in AI-driven software engineering, enterprise architecture, and cross-functional team management.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor software engineers, ensuring best practices in coding and architecture.
• Use AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost productivity and code quality.
• Translate business needs into scalable, high-performance software.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams for alignment and innovation.

Project Management

• Manage software lifecycles — from planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Oversee task allocation and progress using Agile methods.
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across local and remote teams.
• Support business growth by providing technical input for proposals and clients.

Software Architecture & Development

• Design and build solutions using C#, .NET, Python, SQL Server.
• Develop modern UIs with ReactJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, Tailwind.
• Integrate AI-based monitoring and predictive analytics.
• Ensure secure and scalable REST/SOAP API designs.

System Integration & Industrial Connectivity

• Integrate systems with SCADA, PLC, and third-party automation tools.
• Maintain secure communication for industrial and IoT systems.
• Apply AI for predictive maintenance and system performance tracking.

Data Management & Business Intelligence

• Build Power BI, Tableau, and Excel dashboards for business insights.
• Develop ETL pipelines using SSIS with SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Enable data-driven decision-making with advanced analytics.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) is required.
• Certifications in Cloud (Azure/AWS), AI/ML, or Project Management (PMP/Scrum Master) are a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in software development, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, Python, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience managing remote or hybrid teams.
• Knowledge of AI/ML tools, BI platforms, and SCADA/PLC systems.
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and improving efficiency.
