TRAINEESHIP opportunity for Administration position
May Shaw Health Centre - Swansea, Tasmania
Opportunity for a Trainee Administration Officer to undertake a Business Administration Certificate and work with our friendly admin team to support our Swansea facility. Duties will include reception/customer service, office stock management, processing mail, data entry and other general administrative tasks.

Duties you will learn
- Provide administration support to the Aged and Community team.
- Provide reception/customer service to visitors, care recipient's and staff members in accordance with established procedures and processes.
- Ensure Rostering processes/practices comply with relevant legislation and standards.
- Undertake a range of office procedures, including processing mail, data entry, processing admissions and discharges including respite and acute care, preparing documents, taking meeting minutes and providing general administration support as required.
Selection Criteria
- Willingness to learn and apply learning within an administration team
- Good standard of written and verbal communication skill.
- Organisation and time management skills and the ability to proactively identify and meet expectations in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to self-motivate.
- Attention to detail - focus on ensuring accurate preparation of all material in a timely manner.
