What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you will be at the center of client relationships, driving strategic conversations and ensuring the successful execution of their marketing initiatives. You’ll collaborate with project managers, digital marketers, and other Anchour team members to align client goals with actionable strategies and deliver exceptional results.
- Lead Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact, building trust through clear communication, strategic insight, and reliable follow-through.
- Strategic Conversations: Guide discussions to align marketing efforts with client objectives, addressing challenges and identifying growth opportunities.
- Oversee Project Execution: Own projects from scoping and timelines to approvals and final delivery, ensuring all work meets quality standards and stays on schedule.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal teams to align priorities, advocate for the client’s vision, and maintain momentum on all initiatives.
- Facilitate Feedback & Updates: Lead meetings, manage client communications, and streamline feedback loops to keep projects moving and stakeholders informed.
- Champion the Client’s Vision: Advocate for the client’s goals internally, ensuring their vision and brand are consistently represented across all deliverables.
- Collaborate on Roadmaps: Work with clients and internal teams to develop long-term strategic plans and actionable roadmaps that align with their business growth objectives.
- Communicate Marketing Value: Use your knowledge of paid ads, email marketing, SEO/SEM, organic social, and analytics to articulate strategies and highlight performance outcomes.
- Drive Growth: Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate on proposals, scopes, and agreements to expand client success.
This role is based in New England and requires occasional in-office collaboration and in-person client meetings.
What We’d Like To See
We’re looking for someone with a combination of strategic insight, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Agency Experience: 3+ years of experience in account management or strategy roles at a creative, branding, or marketing agency. Candidates without agency experience will not be considered.
- Marketing Expertise: Solid understanding of marketing channels like paid ads, email, SEO, social, and analytics—and how they drive business results.
- Strong Communicator: Skilled at leading client conversations, presenting work, and managing expectations with clarity and professionalism.
- Problem Solver: Adept at identifying and addressing challenges with tact and professionalism while seizing opportunities for account growth.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities without losing sight of big-picture objectives.
- Collaborative Leader: Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams, facilitating collaboration, and aligning diverse perspectives to deliver results.
- Adaptable & Curious: Passionate about staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices, bringing new ideas and innovations to clients and the team.

- New England-Based: Must be located in New England, with the ability to occasionally meet in person with clients or team members.
