Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with respect to the J&J termination and IT Safe process, tracking the performance in the Horizon system, generating Quality Metrics reports, and making specific, written recommendations for remediation, when required. Monitoring and reporting on all daily termination asset transactions and ensuring the associated Work Instructions are followed by the appropriate technicians. Responsibilities include physically signing off on all break/fix hard drives and validating the associated order against the Horizon system prior to releasing them to the break/fix technicians. Termination Supervisors will conduct daily inventory of the Termination Room, reporting on and comparing the actual termination hardware with the expected termination hardware and working with the C3i team to ensure any discrepancies are resolved.
Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Function)
- Ensure the receiving, termination, break/fix, quality control, and depot teams follow the J&J Work Instructions with respect to terminations, break/fix, and ITSafe processes.
- Monitor and track the daily termination emails and queues
- Validate termination orders associated with emails and IRIS queue are entered into the Horizon system
- Maintain a termination spreadsheet tracking all incoming terminations to Horizon orders, actual termination hardware in the termination room, and expected termination hardware. Work with C3i depot team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Physically sign-off any break/fix hard drive release by comparing its serial number with the associated Horizon order prior to releasing the drive to the break/fix team.
- Conduct physical daily inventory of termination hardware in the termination room and compare to the expected termination hardware as tracked in the termination spreadsheet. Work with C3i to resolve any discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: identify and report Quality Assurance concerns (trends) to management. Make specific recommendations to management on how to improve processes, based on observations. Participate in the implementation of these recommendations.
- 4+ years of IT asset management experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
