Facility Engineering Technician

General support activities involving data center critical system operations of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or other systems not limited to but including: Installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems; Performs maintenance repair duties on mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems and related equipment and machinery; Troubleshoots and diagnoses a variety of cases regarding cooling, power, and electric equipment issues; Ensures the safety and reliability of equipment and systems. Provides an advanced level of technical support during the planning and installation of various hardware, including vendor coordination efforts, Coordinates and oversees the activities of other technicians, Provides technical expertise in support of problem resolution for power/back-up power systems. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. 

Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
