The Role
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support our growth and expansion in multiple countries as well as helping us stay compliant with all the local reporting requirements in existing countries. This role will report into the Global Group Controller. This role will be hybrid - 3 days in office - Baner, Pune.
Responsibilities
Actively manage accounting, legal and tax consultants (APAC regions) to ensure compliance with local reporting requirements and tax filings.
Manage global transfer pricing agreements, calculations and invoicing and dealing with tax accountants to update as necessary
Maintain accounting procedures and systems necessary to ensure that: (i) accounting transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and the Company's accounting policies, and (ii) reporting of financial performance is accurate and completed timely.
Proactively monitor and interpret relevant accounting developments and communicate key updates to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
Build on and improve existing financial processes, controls, and policies as we scale.
Contribute to automation projects and processes improvement as and when needed.
Requirements
2-3 years' experience as an assistant controller or senior accountant or finance manager or assistant finance manager
Must have audit or accounting experience
CA and/or CPA preferable
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance or similar roles also preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Prioritize multiple and competing priorities
Strong attention to detail
