Daily Wire is seeking an Assistant Manager/Coordinator to serve as a central operational lead, overseeing junior staff, coordinating across teams, and managing executional work that enables senior leadership to focus on strategy, oversight, and growth. This role provides consistent management coverage for junior editors and live news video editors while improving communication, accountability, and cross-team coordination. The position helps reduce production bottlenecks, missed handoffs, and escalations, while adding redundancy and emergency coverage for daily production needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee junior editorial staff, including Morning Wire editors, live news video editor, and QC supportProvide quality control oversight and day-to-day operational supportCoordinate across graphics, production, ads, post, and editorial teams to ensure smooth handoffsTrack content progress, maintain daily trackers, and manage timelines, including holidays and off-day coverageRepresent the team in lower-level meetings and support clear communication and accountabilityManage post-production operations including receipts, archives, footage drops, and Kipro workflowsSupport licensed content and ad workflows, including tech specs, L3 tracking, and updatesOwn and edit select recurring or quick-turn projects and step in for emergency editing coverage when needed
Experience & Requirements
Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skillsReliable video editing experience with a solid grasp of fundamentalsFull working knowledge of the Daily Wire website and social platformsComfortable managing people, timelines, and deliverablesAbility to operate independently while escalating issues appropriatelySolutions-oriented mindset with a steady flow of practical, creative ideasStrong judgment in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsProven ability to keep teams aligned and work moving efficiently
