The Associate, OCFO Strategic Finance & Analytics, should be prepared to work within a small, collaborative team environment to manage discrete workstreams.
Responsibilities
Execute analytical workstreams under guidance to deliver strategic finance and analytics solutions that create measurable value
Support development and implementation of scalable processes, methodologies and analytical solutions which result in step-function improvements to middle market OCFO functions
Support client communication through analysis and materials to private equity sponsors and lenders on key financial initiatives, including the buildout of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), liquidity forecasting and management, scenario planning and transaction preparation processes and tools
Build driver-based models and tools that enable better decision making and alignment with client objectives and work cross-functionally to productize and automate solutions
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and support implementation of technology-driven performance visibility solutions by integrating diverse datasets to generate insight using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, Snowflake, SQL and Python
Support concurrent engagements to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to clients (sponsors, lenders and management teams)
Support complex transactional and operational situations, including mergers, acquisitions and carveouts, operating model transformations, selling / buying the business, technology implementations, etc.
Collaborate with senior team members to evaluate client performance, diagnose root cause issues, identify improvement opportunities and prepare actionable recommendations
Participate in client meetings, helping translate findings into actionable insights and supporting execution of proposed solutions and contributing to relationship development with management teams and sponsors
Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field from a top undergraduate program; advanced degree or CFA, CPA or CA designation preferred
Experience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions is preferred
Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon
Four plus years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, IB or management consulting, with a focus on middle-market companies
Building expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning and advanced analytics
Strong understanding of private equity environments and value creation strategies
Bias towards and track record of leveraging technology and automation solutions (Power BI / Tableau, Power Automate, UI Path, Automation Anywhere) to drive business process efficiency
Developing proficiency in financial technologies and tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Oracle PBCS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset
Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environments
