Backend Engineer for Cloud-based Solution (f/m/div.)
Your contribution to something big:
As part of our development team, you will play a key role in building and operating our new cloud‑based sizing solution for electric drive applications. In this role, you will help transform complex industrial requirements into scalable digital solutions that support our global customers.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a new cloud‑based sizing solution with a strong focus on backend services.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (setup, configuration, monitoring, maintenance).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high‑quality and reliable deployments.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to translate technical needs into scalable cloud services.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing backend services for cloud applications.
- Proven experience managing cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
Know‑how
- Experience with microservice architectures and cloud‑native development.
- Strong programming skills in Java and C#.
- Solid understanding of compliant use of open‑source software in commercial environments.
- Basic knowledge of sizing industrial drives is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), DevOps tools, or Kubernetes is an advantage.
Languages
- Excellent written and spoken English.
