We have an exciting opportunity to step into a Billing Team Lead position based out of our Moorabbin office. The successful candidate will mentor and support a high-performing team in reconciling carrier costs and ensuring the timely, accurate and complete scheduling of invoices to our customers.

Requirements
As the Billing Team Lead, you will:
- Coach and oversee the training and development of your Billing team
- Conduct monthly formal performance reviews in line with efm’s performance objectives, including KPI management and associated reporting regarding the efficiency and quality of the function
- Be accountable for the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of reconciliation of carrier invoices and subsequent production of customer invoices
- Establish and maintain productive and professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all issues are managed smoothly
- Instigate and implement process improvements and initiatives, including technology and best business practices
- Ensure new carriers and customers are onboarded in an accurate and timely manner to minimise billing errors
- Ensure robust systems and controls are in place, including maintaining documented process maps / procedure manuals of all processes
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Accounting/Finance related fields
- Demonstrated capability in coaching, leading and managing a high performing team and a practical understanding of contemporary people management practices.
- Adapting to change and leading change – proven track record in identifying and implementing business improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to analyse and think critically to resolve issues
- Ability and willingness to take a practical approach and undertake work at an operational level
- Be able to demonstrate strong system, data and analytical skills to determine trends or areas requiring corrective action
