This position can support either front of house (FOH), or back of house (BOH) duties. When supporting FOH, this position provides our guests with efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. When supporting BOH, this position provides cleaning, food prep and basic cooking to our outlets, while following all policies and procedures of SAIT.
How you'll contribute
FOH Serving / Bartending:Knowledge of menu items and preparation methodsProcessing all guest orders in the Micros Point of Sale (POS)Execute delivery of all food and beverage in an efficient and professional mannerProvide guests with exceptional customer service Process of all customer bills and paymentsComplete end of day cashout procedures, ensuring accuracy of depositMaintain a high level of safety and sanitation standardsCleaning of tables/countersMonitor and order packaging supply inventoryStock beverage coolers, coffee station/take out supplies, and retailAssist with the opening and closing duties of the outletSetup and teardown of tables, chairs, décor and AVAssist with replenishing buffet items and all necessary serving utensilsAssume related duties as requiredBOH Stewarding / Prep Cook:Clean kitchen equipment, hand wash dishes, operate dishwasher and overall maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standardsFood preparationDeep cleaning of all equipmentKnowledge of menu items and preparation methodsPackage prepared foods, labeling & pricingAssist with the opening and closing duties of the outletAssume related duties as required
What you bring
A High School Diploma is requiredPrevious working experience is preferred
