As a Chef de Partie at Maroma, a Belmond Hotel, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, ensuring that exceptional dining experiences are delivered to our guests across our luxurious establishments. In this position, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, leading preparation and cooking efforts to produce high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per the menu and company standards.
  • Manage and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations within the station.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Monitor stock levels and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and presentation.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal in English and Spanish
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
