Job Summary
The Chief of Staff (COS) for Community Development will report directly to Miguel Guadalupe (VP of Community Development) and serve as his primary operational partner, helping to project manage priorities, track deliverables, improve processes, and manage logistics across his work.
You will be responsible for ensuring that initiatives move forward with speed, clarity, and accountability—owning follow-through, coordinating stakeholders, and managing the operational details that allow Miguel to focus on high-impact relationships, partnerships, and strategic work.
This is an opportunity for a highly organized, execution-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys enabling senior leaders to operate at their highest level. The role blends project management, operations, and executive support, and will have a meaningful influence on how effectively the organization runs day to day.
This role functions as a force multiplier for the VP of Community Development—owning the operational backbone that enables high-impact fundraising, partnerships, and organizational leadership.

What You’ll Do - Project Management & Execution
Partner closely with Miguel to project manage key initiatives across partnerships, programs, fundraising, and operationsTrack deliverables, deadlines, owners, and dependencies across multiple workstreamsProactively follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitments are metMaintain clear task trackers, project dashboards, and weekly status updatesIdentify risks, bottlenecks, and trade-offs early and escalate appropriately

Manage and triage Miguel’s inbox with judgment and discretionDraft responses, route messages, and flag high-priority itemsOwn calendar management—prioritizing high-leverage meetings and protecting focus timePrepare agendas, briefing notes, and follow-ups for key meetings

Foundational Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in operations, project management, chief of staff, consulting, executive support, or similar rolesProven ability to manage projects end-to-end in fast-paced environmentsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational systemsFluency with tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Asana, Airtable, or similarExperience working remotely and across time zonesFull professional fluency in English; Spanish a plusBA/BS or equivalent experience
