The Impact of a Demo Support Engineer at Coupa:
The Demo Support Engineer is a critical strategic position, serving as the direct link between Coupa's technological innovation and the achievement of revenue goals. Far beyond simple technical support, this role is the core engine ensuring the flawless and scalable delivery of our value proposition.
By empowering the sales organization, the Demo Support Engineer translates complex capabilities into compelling business outcomes. As a force multiplier for the pre-sales motion, the role delivers significant operational leverage, accelerating sales velocity and effectively mitigating deal risk.
What You'll Do:
The primary responsibilities will involve providing front-line support, including issue handling and troubleshooting.Focus on business support and owning the deal process.Manage backlog effectively and maintain SLA disciplineDevelop industry-specific and localized content and contribute to other projects as required by the business.Act as the functional owner and SME for assigned product componentsMaintaining deep relationships with your Product Managers (PMs) and Solution Advisory SME’s.Collaborate closely with the Program & Release Manager on activities pertaining to New releases and project execution.Engage in daily collaboration with the technical team to facilitate expedited troubleshooting and issue resolution.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
3–7+ years of experience in procurement SaaS, pre-sales, functional consulting, or supportDeep functional expertise in procurement to pay workflows.Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teamsStrong analytical skillsExperience supporting revenue-generating teams (pre-sales / sales) is a plus.Ability to build scalable demo contentAbility to work under time-sensitive deal pressureExperience leveraging AI tools in day-to-day activities to enhance productivity, troubleshooting efficiency, and demo storytelling is a strong plus.Role requires working in shifts to support PST time zone coverage (until 7-7.30 PM Colombia Timezone).
