Own engineering delivery outcomes for customer implementations and integrations
Partner with Brazil-based engineering team (Caxias do Sul)
Act as the primary bridge between engineering, customer success (Go-To-Market), and leadership
Navigate and resolve cross-team friction related to timelines, scope, and expectations
Build trust with engineers by deeply understanding their technical challenges and constraints
Coach and support existing team leads, especially a high-potential emerging manager
Improve responsiveness, communication, and ownership across distributed teams
Requirements
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in engineering leadership roles
Strong background in backend systems, ideally Python-based environments
Experience leading teams working on integrations, APIs, or complex external systems
Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, sales, customer success)
Experience working in fast-paced startups (Seed to Series A/B or similar environments)
Strong people leadership skills with a focus on coaching, trust-building, and conflict resolution
Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with constant deadlines and ambiguity
Experience working with distributed or international teams
Strong business mindset with the ability to prioritize impact over perfection
English proficiency: C1 or C2 (must be able to communicate clearly with U.S. stakeholders)

Experience working with AWS Lambda or serverless architectures
Familiarity with web scraping, API integrations, or automation workflows
Exposure to AI/automation initiatives in engineering workflows
Previous experience as a VP Engineering, Director, CTO, or similar leadership role
