F5 Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Riyadh, KSA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified F5 Expert / SME to join our Operations Team onsite in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of extensive hands-on experience with F5 technologies and be proficient in all major F5 modules, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM), Global Traffic Manager / DNS (GTM/DNS), and Application Security Manager (ASM). This role requires deep technical expertise to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot F5 solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of F5 BIG-IP solutions across the organization’s infrastructure.

• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for all F5 modules: LTM, GTM/DNS, and ASM.

• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of F5 services.

• Develop and maintain F5 configurations, policies, and automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

• Monitor and analyze traffic patterns, application delivery, and security events using F5 tools.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of application delivery infrastructure.

• Conduct health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning for F5 environments.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

• Stay current with F5 product updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend improvements.

• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis related to F5 infrastructure.

Requirements

• Certification: Must be F5 certified

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of extensive experience working with F5 technologies.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) for load balancing and application delivery.

• Strong expertise in F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) / DNS for global load balancing and DNS management.

• Proficient in F5 Application Security Manager (ASM) for web application firewall and security policies.

• Proven experience in configuring and managing F5 modules in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of network protocols, security concepts, and application delivery architectures.

• Experience working onsite in operational teams supporting critical infrastructure.
