Based in Paris, the financial controller will take part in the building and structuring of the Management Company (and its subsidiaries) procedures and data monitoring/reporting tools. She/he will assist the Revaia team in the structuring and oversight of the financial vehicles (Funds and SPVs) alongside the CFO and outside partners (accounting firm, auditors, custodian, compliance…)
The projects the financial controller will be responsible for are the following
MANAGEMENT COMPANY
- Financial and administrative oversight of the Management Company and its subsidiaries (cashflows, inter-company transactions, preparation of financial statements and creation of financial monitoring tools)
- Manage quarterly closes and prepare the annual financial close, coordinating with outside parties (accounting firm, auditors, banks)
- Participe in deploying IT tools & systems (CRM, HR, …)
- Implement the internal control procedures (prepared by the RCCI) and oversee their roll-out in the Management Company.
- Optimise and automate (when possible) internal control procedures and financial information production to help scale the activity
DAILY OVERSIGHT OF THE FUND ACTIVITY
- Cash flow monitoring (billing, capital calls ,distributions) and cash projection preparation in coordination with the investment team
- In direct relation with the custodian bank, the other banks, the accounting firm and the auditors
- Take part in the financial and tax structuring of the funds and other financial vehicles
- Work on financial, tax and legal procedures alongside our RCCI and outside advisor
- Calculate and follow compliance with the legal and tax ratios of the funds
- Follow compliance with the French regulator’s requirements along with our RCCI and third party advisor ( FATCA / CRS reporting, AMF filings)
PORTFOLIO ACTIVITY
- Check adequacy of the Investment and Exit of each Fund portfolio company in collaboration with the investment team
- Collecte KPIs needed to monitor the portfolio activity from the different companies (performance indicators and KPIs needed for Investor reporting)
- Prepare the Valuation Committee and Risk Committee
- Oversee financial assistance from Portfolio companies with CFO
INVESTOR
- Participate to the Fundraising effort
- Participate in the Quarterly and Annual Investor reporting
- Provide and assist with any other investor request
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- Min previous work experience in the financial sector : 2 years
- Excellent written and spoken English
- French bilingual
- Knowledge of the PE/VC environment is appreciated
- Able to multi task and complete projects in a timely manner
