JobType :full-time

We’re seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer to help build the core of our AI-driven audit platform. You will work directly with the leadership team to design and implement the systems and interfaces that power our workflows. This role sits at the intersection of backend services, data models, and user-facing product, giving you the opportunity to ship features end-to-end—from database design to polished user experiences.

A major part of this role is turning complex, messy workflows into simple, reliable software that auditors can use without training. You will build APIs that integrate with AI agents, design review interfaces for AI outputs, and ensure the product feels fast, intuitive, and trustworthy.

This is an early, high-ownership role. You will shape core product architecture, influence how users interact with AI systems, and help define what modern internal audit software should look like. You should be excited about working closely with users, iterating quickly, and taking full responsibility for features from conception to production.

Requirements

Interview Process

We design our interviews to reflect how we actually work. We prioritize practical problem-solving, product thinking, and the ability to build reliable systems in ambiguous environments. The process is efficient, respectful of your time, and focused on real work rather than abstract puzzles.

Phone Screen

  • A short, informal call with a founder to discuss your background, career goals, and the product.
  • Opportunity to ask questions and determine mutual fit.

Remote Technical Screen (1 hour)

  • A hands-on session focused on approaching real-world problems.
  • You may work through a small feature or system similar to what we build.
  • Language-agnostic; production stack includes Python, SQL, and React, but you can use your preferred tools.

Onsite Interview (Half Day)

  • Collaboration with the leadership team on practical feature-building exercises.
  • Focus on problem-solving, product judgment, and end-to-end implementation.
  • Time to discuss roadmap, culture, and what working together would look like.

Timing and Logistics

  • The full process typically takes 1–2 weeks.
  • Accommodations can be made for candidates with competing offers or tight timelines.

About the Platform
Our platform aims to transform internal audit by reducing repetitive, procedural work. Auditors spend less time gathering evidence and producing documentation, and more time advising the business and focusing on risk. AI agents autonomously handle large parts of audit programs, from evidence collection to testing and workpaper creation.

Our goal is to build software that is simple, intuitive, and immediately useful—tools that meet audit teams where they are today without requiring long onboarding or tutorials.

We are a small, in-person team, hiring our first non-founder roles. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced operators, move quickly, and help define the future of internal audit software.
