We’re looking for a Founding Product Engineer to help define and build the technical foundation of our AI-powered documentation platform. This is a rare opportunity to join as one of our first full-stack hires at a seed-stage startup with strong product-market fit and rapid growth potential. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to develop end-to-end user-facing features and have the opportunity to evolve into a future tech lead as the company scales.

Requirements

What You’ll Own
As a founding product engineer, you’ll take full ownership of major product areas, spanning backend to frontend:

• Voice agent for in-visit documentation
• Coding agent workflows and automation
• Analytics dashboards and data pipelines for clinicians and administrators
• Dynamic visit guides with real-time prompting
• Customer-editable documentation behavior and rules

You’ll work across the full stack—designing APIs, building robust backend systems, and creating intuitive interfaces that users love.

Your Impact (First Year)

• Scale the platform to support growing enterprise demand, delivering measurable productivity improvements for clients
• Build and ship complete user-facing features autonomously
• Implement infrastructure that supports real-time documentation processing
• Establish engineering best practices for a growing team
• Own product areas end-to-end that directly impact thousands of users

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

• Senior-level full-stack engineering experience with strong product development skills
• Comfortable owning features from backend to frontend
• Experience scaling platforms in high-growth environments
• Expertise in database modeling, API design, and systems architecture
• Ability to translate ambiguous ideas into shipped products
• Strong focus on UX, iteration speed, and real-world usability
• Thrives in a startup environment with ambiguity and rapid execution

Extraordinary qualities:

• Experience with AI/ML platforms, particularly audio processing or NLP
• Seed to Series B startup experience
• Previous founding engineer experience
• Background in healthcare or regulated industries
• Enterprise B2B SaaS exposure
• Real-time systems expertise
• Strong frontend development skills
