Complete the full range of Gatekeeper duties: guard entrance gate; monitor the activities at the entrance of the Hotel; control traffic to and from the entrance and car parks; be aware of the daily arrivals, departures, groups & VIP guests; greet and screen guests and visitors; check credentials; prevent unauthorized entries; direct guests and visitors; give directions & information; record arrivals and/or people/vehicle leaving; operate internal radio system and telephone; sign for packages/deliveries; contribute to Hotel security; thank and bid farewell,
Assist with Porters duties when required,
Respond to guests and visitors needs and requests, resolve issues/complaints/problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service,
Work proactively, focusing on ensuring that service standards and Hotel policies are achieved,
Train and coach colleagues so they develop their system knowledge and personal skills,
Requirements
Having previous experience in a similar work as well as having worked in a similar luxury hotel/environment will be considered additional advantages,
Detail and face oriented as must continually observe and be aware of numerous behaviors,
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Must possess basic computer skills.
General knowledge of the island where hotel is located and its attractions.
Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities
