Position requirements:
· Assist in the preparation of a variety of pastries, dessert, and baked goods for buffet, according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
· Support mise en place for daily service ensuring all components are ready, accurately measured, and efficiently organized.
· Ensure consistent taste, texture, and visual presentation of all pastry and dessert items, upholding luxury appearance standards.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times, ensuring readiness for service periods.
· Follow instructions and guidance from the Head Pastry Chef and collaborate seamlessly with the broader kitchen team.
· Perform other pastry department duties as assigned to support efficient operations.
Requirements
· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in pastry or bakery production, preferably in a hotel, resort, or luxury restaurant setting
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment, following instructions and maintaining standards under pressure.
· Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
