Every week, we move up to 17,000 pallets through our supply network, working with third-party logistics partners across rail freight, road transport and warehousing to deliver excellent service for our customers.
We’re now looking for a Group Supply Chain Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will shape and lead our supply chain strategy, ensuring our network is optimised for service, efficiency and long-term growth.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence across the business, partnering closely with customers, logistics providers and internal teams to deliver a resilient and high-performing supply chain.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Supply Chain Strategy & Network Optimisation
- Design and implement the group supply chain strategy
- Optimise the network to balance service, cost and operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics performance across the supply chain
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead production and material supply planning across the group
- Drive the demand and supply forecasting process
- Own and develop the S&OP framework to support business performance
Customer & Logistics Delivery
- Oversee customer logistics operations and customer service performance
- Build strong supply chain partnerships with key retail customers
- Ensure transport planning and service delivery meet customer expectations
Third-Party Logistics Management
- Manage strategic relationships with logistics partners and 3PL providers
- Lead contract design, negotiation and performance management
- Ensure service, cost and operational standards are consistently delivered
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead a diverse team across planning, logistics and customer supply chain
- Demonstrable experience in building high performing teams and culture
- Provide clear direction and development opportunities for the team
- Contribute to the wider leadership of the business as part of the Group Senior Management Team
About You
We’re looking for a strong leader who combines strategic thinking with practical operational experience.
You’ll likely bring:
- Significant experience in supply chain leadership within FMCG or manufacturing
- Expertise in supply network planning and optimisation
- Strong experience in S&OP, forecasting and supply planning
- Experience designing and negotiating logistics and 3PL contracts
- A track record of building strong customer supply chain partnerships
- Demonstrable experience in building high performing teams and culture
- The ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at senior level
