The Role

Reporting to the Group General Manager, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, this role leads the design, maintenance and continuous improvement of Crown Resorts’ (including Betfair) enterprise-wide Compliance Framework and associated policies, procedures, tools and reporting.

You will play a crucial role in uplifting Crown’s compliance maturity, supporting our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) enablement, and driving consistent compliance standards across all properties.

This is a highly influential role, working closely with senior executives, property compliance, risk and financial crime teams, and various other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Continuous uplift and maintenance of Crown’s Group Compliance Framework, policies and supporting documentation (including, Obligations Management, Regulatory Change, Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Hospitality).
  • Drive GRC system enhancements to support compliance implementation and operationalisation.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training across the organisation.
  • Establish compliance analytics, dashboards and reporting to support oversight and Board‑level visibility.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives as directed by the Group GM, C&RA.
  • Prepare Compliance Reports for Board and Management Committees.
  • Participate proactively in business meetings and contribute to compliance-led initiatives.
  • Lead or support compliance projects to ensure Crown remains aligned with regulatory obligations.
  • Drive strong stakeholder relationships across the group to uplift compliance capability.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislation, responsible gaming policies, and mandatory training requirements.

About You

You have:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, governance and policies in a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to uplift compliance maturity within a complex business.
  • Experience presenting to or reporting at Board or senior-level committees.
  • Strong understanding of obligations management, controls, and regulatory change.
  • Experience enhancing and using GRC tools.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Collaborative working style and ability to coach and support team members.
  • High-level research, documentation and report writing skills.
  • Degree in Business, Law or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licences (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth).
