The Role
Candex is looking for a team player that possesses fantastic interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills. You’ll need to be highly organized and have experience working with C-suite and across functional teams. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated and self-directed and constantly striving for improvement and identifying ways to increase revenue.
Responsibilities
Partner with the leadership team to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Build and maintain robust financial models, including rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and cash flow projections aligned with long-term strategic goals
Utilize financial and operational data to develop analyses (e.g., pricing scenarios, customer profitability, payback, ROI) that enable data-driven decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate KPIs into actionable financial targets and performance metrics
Analyze and report on key financial indicators, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Manage investor reporting, fundraising materials, and board presentation preparation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking
Proven ability to distill complex financial analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficient in GSuite
Knowledge of Tableau for reporting and analytics
Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software tools
