What you’ll be doing
- Define and own the Trade & Shopper Marketing strategy across pharmacy and retail channels in Eastern Europe
- Act as the strategic and operational bridge between Brand Marketing, Sales and a 30+ Field Sales Force team
- Build and shape the Trade Marketing organization in Eastern Europe, including leading and developing direct reports and future hires
- Translate global and regional brand strategies into clear trade priorities, activation frameworks and execution standards
- Leverage existing best-practice blueprints and reporting frameworks from DACH, while adapting them to the Polish and Eastern European markets
- Own the regional trade marketing budget, steering pricing, promotion mechanics, category initiatives and investment decisions to maximize ROI and GP
- Drive category management excellence, data-driven decision-making and strong customer-facing activation plans
- Oversee high-impact shopper activations, POS visibility, retail media initiatives and pharmacy recommendation programs
- Support key commercial negotiations and joint business planning with major customers
- Ensure consistent performance tracking, post-evaluation and continuous improvement across markets and channels
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Strong experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management, Key Account Management or Channel Marketing within FMCG or other fast-moving, commercially driven environments (FMCG experience highly preferred)
- Solid understanding of the Polish retail and/or pharmacy market
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, promotions, GP management and trade budget ownership
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Field Force teams
- Proven ability to translate data and insights into clear commercial actions
- Leadership potential – this role is ideal for a senior Trade/Category/Key Account professional ready to step into a broader leadership position
- Fluent Polish and English; international mindset and flexibility to collaborate across markets (including DACH and other regions)
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a growth and transformation phase
