Greencross Vets Helensvale is seeking a passionate and motivated Head Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established, supportive clinic.

About Us

Located on the beautiful Gold Coast, our friendly and down-to-earth clinic has a loyal client base and high standards of patient care. You’ll be working alongside a close-knit team of 2 veterinarians and 3 experienced nurses who genuinely support one another.

This opportunity has arisen as our wonderful current Head Nurse is moving into a more senior leadership role, creating an exciting opportunity for the next Head Nurse to step into this role.

About the Role

As Head Veterinary Nurse, you will provide both clinical and team leadership while remaining hands-on:

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursing team

• Supporting daily workflow and client experience

• Assisting in consultations and surgical procedures

• Monitoring anaesthetics and patient recovery

• Taking and processing radiographs

• Performing dental prophylaxis

• Administering medications and maintaining high clinical standards

About You

• Veterinary nursing experience (leadership experience preferred)

• Confident with patients, clients, and team communication

• Calm, organised, and proactive

• A positive leader who values teamwork, learning, and high-quality care
