We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer who thrives on solving operational complexity, building structure, and helping business owners scale.
This is not an internal corporate COO position.
Instead, you will operate as a strategic operations partner, working with multiple growing law firms to help them implement the systems, structure, and leadership needed to scale successfully.

As COO, you will partner directly with law firm owners and leadership teams to build operational systems that support predictable growth and sustainable profitability.
Your work will focus on transforming entrepreneurial firms into well-structured organizations with clear accountability, measurable performance, and scalable operations.
You will operate at the intersection of:

Help firm owners translate business goals into operational systems and execution plans.
Design and implement scalable systems including:
Organizational structure
Workflow and process design
Operational documentation
Vendor and partner management
Serve as a trusted operational advisor by:
Coaching attorneys on leadership and accountability
Helping leadership teams execute strategic initiatives
Reinforcing operational discipline across teams
Build KPI-driven operations by:
Implementing dashboards and scorecards
Tracking growth and performance metrics
Leading operational performance reviews
Lead initiatives that improve:
Efficiency
Profitability
Team performance
Client delivery systems
You will:
• Build trust with firm owners and leadership teams
• Conduct operational assessments for assigned firms
• Identify immediate operational improvements
• Implement KPI tracking and reporting structures
• Begin leading operational review meetings

You are a builder, problem-solver, and execution leader who thrives in fast-moving entrepreneurial environments.
You are comfortable stepping into complex businesses, diagnosing operational issues, and implementing systems that create clarity and accountability.
You likely have experience as:
• COO
• VP of Operations
• Business operations consultant
• EOS Integrator or similar operational leadership role
Most importantly, you understand what it takes to scale service-based businesses.
• 10+ years' experience as a COO, VP Operations, or senior operational leader
• Proven experience scaling businesses from $10M to $30M+ in revenue
• Strong experience in service-based businesses
• Experience building scalable operational systems
• Leadership coaching and accountability management
• Strong analytical and KPI-driven decision making
• Prefers slow-moving corporate environments
• Avoids accountability or measurable performance metrics
• Dislikes client-facing leadership roles
• Has never helped a small or mid-sized business scale
• Prefers managing internal teams instead of advising business owners
Base Salary: $110,000
Performance Pay: Up to $182,000 total annual compensation
