As part of the People team based in Paris, we are looking for an HR Director Tech & Product. In this role, reporting directly to the CHRO, you will be responsible for driving the people strategy and operational excellence within the CPO and CTO divisions. Your mission is to build the organization and mindset that will make Malt’s ambitions possible: Agile, AI-first, and powered by talented people who embody our culture of growth, leadership, and joy.
Key responsibilities ✨
Strategic HR Partnership: Partner with the C-Level (CPO/CTO) to develop and implement HR policies and practices that support the rapid growth of their divisions.Organizational Development: Offer thought advice regarding organizational strategy and transformation execution to ensure a scalable structure.Performance & Development Coaching: Partner with functional managers on performance management. You will help leaders view the business through a ‘Who’ lens, focusing on sourcing and nurturing "A Players".Functional Expertise: Provide deep HR expertise in defining functional career paths and skill frameworks specifically for Tech and Product scopes.Matrix Collaboration: Partner in a matrix with Country HRs & HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Comp & Ben, People Ops) to ensure global alignment and local relevance.Core HR Process Leadership: Lead the implementation of key cycles including performance calibration, compensation reviews, internal mobility, and engagement initiatives.Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze and interpret employee reports (attrition, job levels, compensation) to provide proactive solutions and guide business decisions.
About you 🧑🚀
Industry Expertise: Proven experience as an HR leader (10+ years) specifically within the Technology and Product ecosystem.Versatile Background: You have navigated both established large-scale enterprises and high-growth, agile scale-up environments.Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and market trends, enabling you to translate business needs into effective people strategies.Change Management: Proven ability to guide organizational change and minimize disruption during periods of rapid restructuring or growth.Legal & Compliance: Comfortable navigating complex legal frameworks and varying employee relations practices.Leadership: A natural coach capable of managing both solid and dotted line teams while fostering a culture of feedback and growth.Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory).

First call with our Talent Acquisition team to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have. (30-45 minutes)Interview with your future manager, the CHRO, to delve into your experience and the strategic people challenges at Malt. (45-60 minutes)Business case to perform at Malt’s office in order to assess your strategic and operational approach with key stakeholders.Final interview with a member of the C-Level (CPO or CTO) to discuss the long-term vision and cultural fit.
