About The Role
We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to play a highly visible, hands-on role supporting managers and employees across the organization. Reporting to the Head of People, you will focus on strengthening employee experience, improving team effectiveness, and equipping managers with the tools and guidance they need to lead confidently.
This role is ideal for an HR leader who thrives close to the business — coaching managers through day-to-day people challenges, addressing employee relations matters, driving performance conversations, and supporting change at the team level. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and a practical, solutions-oriented partner to managers, helping create a high-performing, engaged, and values-aligned workplace.
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted resource for employees, helping to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging workplace.Partner on engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, and feedback loops; translate insights into actionable steps at the team level.Identify themes and trends impacting morale, retention, and performance, and recommend targeted solutions.Identify development needs across teams and collaborate on training initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and employee growth.Support managers and teams through organizational changes, providing clear communication frameworks and practical tools.Help teams navigate growth, shifting priorities, and evolving roles with clarity and structure to drive alignment, accountability, and strong team health.Serve as a primary People partner for managers, providing practical guidance on day-to-day team leadership, performance management, and employee development.Coach managers on delivering feedback, setting clear expectations, navigating difficult conversations, and building strong team dynamics.Support managers in developing high-performing teams aligned with company values and goals.Lead and manage employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and a balanced, fair approach.Partner with managers to proactively address underperformance through clear feedback, documentation, and development plans.Ensure consistent and thoughtful application of company policies and practices.Design, update and refine policies to reflect company growth and evolving needs.Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws while balancing employee experience and business priorities.
Qualifications
6-10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or Generalist experienceExperience supporting and coaching managers across multiple business unitsDemonstrated ownership of performance management cycles, employee relations cases, engagement survey analysis and action planning and organizational change initiativesStrong coaching capability (feedback delivery, difficult conversations, accountability)Ability to build leadership capability at the frontline manager level Experience in a scaling or high-growth environment preferredProven ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters independentlyComfort with ambiguityDirect, clear communicatorAbility to influence without authoritySound judgment in investigations and performance documentationBalanced, fair, and business-minded approachStrong working knowledge of employment law (multi-state preferred)Experience drafting and refining company policiesAbility to balance compliance with employee experience
Salary will vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
