As the HR Generalist for Belmond Safaris, you will perform various administrative tasks and support the Human Resources department’s daily activities. Primary Responsibilities Include

1.1.        Support the Human Resources administration which involves the administration of Employee birthday cards, long service milestone letters, filing etc.

1.2.       Ensure Employee files are kept up to date and accurate and ensure all Employee files are digitized.

1.3.       Assist with all administration related to new starters and terminations.

1.4.       Prepare all relevant Human Resources related reports as needed, including monthly social reports, annual social report, monthly head count report, monthly HR report.

1.5.       Assist with the administration of L&D initiatives and eLearning platform as required.

1.6.       Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring adequate resources and facilities are available.

1.7.       Maintain accurate training records and track employee participation and progress.

1.8.       Support with the full recruitment cycle by recruiting and selecting top tier candidates for all positions within the Business, and presenting the shortlist to Management.

1.9.       Support with Service Provider Relationship Management such as OAR, Employee benefit providers etc.

1.10.     Ensure all relevant employee concerns, queries or issues you become of aware of, are timeously shared with the relevant member of the Human Resources Department

1.11.       Administer and manage the Companies Learning Management System (LMS)- BEAT, the HR system- MyHR &Talent Connect and the Company leave system, ESS.

1.12.      Responsible for implementing and directing HR and welfare programs as instructed by the HR Manager.

1.13.      Provide information and reports on data such as Employee turnover, stability etc. as requested.

1.14.     Ensure that all Employee notice boards around the office are always well maintained and kept updated.

1.15.      Assist with conducting probationary reviews and exit interviews.

1.16.     Engage with Employees on a daily basis giving general advice and support.

1.17.      Manage all correspondence and the administration of employee benefits providers.

1.18.     Build relationships with the Area IT team to facilitate and support the needs of the business.

1.19.     Assist with the monthly payroll submission packs, including preparations of Maun Office pack and the data quality checks for all Payroll packs.

 

Requirements

§  Proven experience as Human Resources Officer, Administrator or other Human Resources position.

§  Knowledge of Human Resources functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).

§  High level of computer literacy.

§  Exceptional time-management, organisational & administrative abilities.

§  Ability to work without supervision.

§  Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures.

§  Proficient in MS Office
