About the Role
As an Integration and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations and automated workflows across internal systems and platforms. This role focuses on enabling seamless data exchange, improving operational efficiency through automation, and supporting the development of robust integration architectures.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to implement reliable integrations using modern cloud technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. This is a long-term position suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex system integration challenges and building automation that improves how systems communicate and operate.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain system integrations using REST APIs and Azure-based servicesBuild and manage Azure Functions to support scalable and event-driven integrationsDevelop automation workflows that streamline internal processes and reduce manual interventionDesign and implement integration architectures that support secure, reliable data exchange across platformsCollaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into integration solutionsMonitor and troubleshoot integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and stabilityMaintain documentation and ensure integration solutions follow best practices and architectural standardsContinuously improve existing integrations and automation workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
Requirements
3+ years of experience working with Azure Functions3+ years of experience designing and implementing REST API integrations3+ years of experience with Integration Architecture, including designing system-to-system integrations1+ year of experience in Workflow or Automation EngineeringStrong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and event-driven architecturesExperience building and maintaining cloud-based integrations within Azure environmentsAbility to troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systemsStrong collaboration and communication skills when working with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
1+ year of experience with AI or Prompt Engineering, particularly in automation or intelligent workflow scenariosExperience integrating AI-powered services or automation tools into operational workflowsFamiliarity with automation frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, or low-code automation platformsExposure to AI-assisted development or intelligent automation use cases
