The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do
- Learn the workflow of preclinical development of novel cell therapies.
- Document experimental protocols and data generation in an organized manner.
- Isolate, culture, and phenotype primary immune cells.
- Develop and optimize assays to characterize the functionality of novel CAR T cell candidates.
- Genetic modification of cell lines and primary immune cells.
- Effectively communicate scientific findings to cross functional teams.
Skills and Experience We Look For
- BS with 1 year post-graduate relevant lab experience or MS in a relevant life sciences program (e.g. biological sciences, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry).
- Pursuing a graduate degree in Biological Sciences or related disciplines.
- Experienced with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, PCR, and antibody-based assays (ex ELISAs, flow cytometry, western blotting).
- Proficient with Graph pad prism and Microsoft Office products such as power point and excel.
- Excellent science communication skills who can work well in a collaborative team setting.
- Ability to work full time on-site at our Rockville, MD site.
