Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with agile teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with business needs.
You will:
- Collaborate with Agile team members to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
- Translate business needs into structured user stories, detailed tasks, and workflow/system diagrams that enable engineers to implement solutions effectively.
- Collect and define scope for all systems involved within your squad or department.
- Propose optimal technical and functional solutions in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, document, monitor, and resolve risks and issues throughout project execution.
- Identify dependencies early and proactively manage them.
- Coordinate with vendors by communicating technical scope and requirements and evaluating technical and financial proposals.
- Ensure timely involvement of all required stakeholders and maintain delivery timelines.
- Facilitate effective communication across IT and commercial domains.
- Work within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban), using tools such as Jira.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within your team and Chapter community.
- Understand architectural directions and ensure proposed solutions align with target architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical/functional role.
- Prior working experience or strong domain knowledge in Supply Chain and/or Logistics industries (e.g., transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution networks, postal/logistics systems).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience in writing clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to manage non-elastic deadlines and navigate delivery risks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Full exposure to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands on experience in SQL and familiarity with database management systems.
- Experience working with distributed systems.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Exposure to large-scale or scaled agile environments.
