About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer who is excited to build fast, learn quickly, and use modern AI-assisted development tools to help kick off new products and internal tools.
This role is a strong fit for someone with a Computer Science or related engineering degree, hands-on coding experience, and a builder mindset. You should be comfortable using tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, and similar AI coding products as part of your daily workflow.
You will help us turn ideas into working MVPs, prototypes, and early production-ready systems. You should enjoy building side projects, making practical technical decisions, and moving from concept to implementation with speed and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build and launch MVPs, internal tools, and new product ideas using AI-assisted coding workflows.
- Use tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, and similar platforms to accelerate development and prototyping.
- Contribute to backend and full-stack development tasks across early-stage projects.
- Translate product ideas into working code with support from senior team members.
- Participate in technical decisions around architecture, APIs, data models, and system design.
- Build integrations with third-party APIs and external services.
- Review clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Test, debug, and improve applications throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work closely with product, design, and business teams to turn requirements into shipped features.
- Document technical decisions and implementation details clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong coding fundamentals in at least one modern language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience using Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or similar AI coding tools in previous projects.
- Demonstrated interest in building software outside formal coursework, such as side projects, hackathons, freelance work, or personal products.
- Good understanding of software engineering basics including APIs, databases, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to move quickly, learn new tools fast, and work independently when needed.
- Clear communication skills and a practical problem-solving mindset.
