On behalf of the Client, GT is looking for a Junior Mobile Automation QA interested in dating domain.
Our client is creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. They are building an inclusive, human-centered product and are looking for a Junior Mobile Automation QA to support the QA team in elevating the quality of their mobile applications.
You will gain hands-on experience in mobile automation and contribute to a team mission focused on enhancing the human experience of sexuality and relationships.
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium, JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebDriverIO.
Support the QE Automation Engineer in executing automated tests and maintaining test coverage.
Help monitor test results, report issues in Sentry, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) by integrating automated tests and supporting continuous testing processes.
Maintain and organize test case repositories in BrowserStack, ensuring visibility and proper documentation.
Participate in QA team discussions, sharing insights and learning best practices in mobile automation.
You have up to 1–1,5 years of practical experience in mobile automation testing (internship experience may also be considered).
Comfortable writing automated scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Basic knowledge of Appium and mobile testing frameworks (iOS/Android).
Familiar with GitHub for version control and basic CI/CD concepts.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher is required, as you will be directly integrated into the client’s English-speaking team and collaborate with them on a daily basis.
Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to QA automation projects.
Exposure to BrowserStack or other cloud-based device testing platforms.
Understanding of mobile app deployment processes (App Store Connect, Google Play).
Prior experience with Jest or other JavaScript testing frameworks.
Gain practical, hands-on experience in mobile-focused QA automation using TypeScript, Appium, WebDriverIO, and BrowserStack.
Learn how to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android apps.
Develop your skills in test case design, execution, and reporting under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
Improve collaboration skills in a remote, inclusive, and supportive team environment.
