We have been in business for over 20 years and our team strives to be the premier moving and storage operation in the DMV area, and we are looking for a salesperson who wants to grow with us. We have the ability to service local, intra-state, interstate, and long-haul moves as an agent for a major van line and our own 14,000 square foot vaulted and palletized storage facility, maximizing flexibility for our customers.
Position: Lead Salesperson
The Lead Salesperson will be the face of the Sloan’s brand in the community. This role is responsible for driving revenue by creating and maintaining strong relationships with lead-generating partners while representing our company and values throughout the sales and after-care process.This is a relationship-driven role focused on long-term partnerships, trust, and consistent follow-through, not transactional selling. As the Lead Salesperson, you will have the opportunity to service and sell the vast majority of company leads.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and grow relationships with referral partners including: Realtors, Storage facilities, Assisted living and senior living communities, Restoration companies, Home staging companies, HOAs and property managers and other strategic lead sourcesActively represent the company through in-person visits, presentations, networking events, and community engagementServe as a professional, knowledgeable resource for partners and customersEnsure a smooth handoff from sales to operations while maintaining involvement through post-move follow-up and after-careCommunicate our value proposition and service standards consistently and accurately while maintaining a high closing percentage on generated leadsCollaborate closely with internal operators on completion of sales, execution, and customer serviceTrack a high volume of customers, activities, lead sourcing relationships, and results using company systems and tools

Qualifications
3+ years experience in moving and storage industry sales, relationship management and business developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating with a teamValid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation & Ownership
Base salary of $30,000 + commission, on target earnings expected to be $75,000/yr, which is uncappedEquity: Participation in company equity, reflecting your ownership stake and shared successSupport: Partnership with a strong internal team focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
