Litigation Associate
Offit Kurman, a growing national full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our Commercial Litigation & Real Estate Law & Transactions groups. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate litigation, strong litigation skills, and the ability to manage complex matters from inception through resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload involving real estate litigation, construction litigation and related matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive arguments for court and arbitration proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and experts to develop and implement case strategies.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with coursework in litigation, construction, and/or government contracting.
- 3–7 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, with significant focus on real estate related litigation.
- Admitted to practice in New York (New Jersey a plus).
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
