Haven is building the future of migraine care for the 40 million Americans who suffer from this debilitating neurological condition. Backed by Runa Capital, Westbound Equity, Precursor Ventures, and 1843 Capital, we're transforming how migraine is treated through an innovative combination of telemedicine, AI-enabled monitoring, and personalized care plans. Our early results are exceptional - our initial patient cohort is seeing a 70% improvement rate with days impacted by headache reduced by half.
We’re hiring a Manager, Growth Operations to manage our Growth Operations team. This role will drive patient conversion at Haven by overseeing team performance, building scalable infrastructure, and driving continuous improvement across applicant-facing operations. Reporting to our Senior Manager of Growth Operations, this is a great fit for someone who thrives in an early-stage environment and wants to both manage a growing team and have a hands-on role in shaping daily operations.
You’ll manage and develop a growing international team that serves as the first point of contact for every patient at Haven. This team plays a critical role in shaping the patient experience and driving conversion — guiding individuals from initial interest through onboarding and into care. As we expand into new services, you’ll also help ensure our systems are efficient, high-touch, and ready to scale.
Manage and grow the Growth Operations team (currently 5 full-time international direct reports, growing to 9+ by end of Q2 2026). This includes hiring new team members while providing coaching, structure, and support to the team to ensure high performance and a positive culture.
Execute and refine the workflows that guide applicants from initial interest to their first appointment. You will identify friction points in the applicant journey and implement tactical improvements to ensure a compassionate, efficient experience.
Standardize and document procedures to ensure team adherence, support for scale, and high quality care as volume increases.
Act as the primary point of escalation for clinical and support teams to ensure daily alignment. You’ll be responsible and fully involved in the handoff process, ensuring no applicant falls through the cracks during the transition into care.
In addition to leading daily execution, you’ll build scalable processes, implement quality assurance workflows (e.g., reviewing calls and outreach), and help create the infrastructure to support a rapidly growing team.
3 - 5 years of experience in general operations, product operations, or a similar fast-paced role.
2+ years of experience managing teams, including direct people management and cross-functional leadership. Bonus if you’ve managed international teams.
Strong analytical and systems thinking skills; comfortable working with metrics and tools like Airtable and Google Sheets.
Excellent communication and coaching skills; you give clear feedback, can facilitate difficult conversations, and help teams grow.
You’re likely a good fit if you’re highly detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and are energized by building structure in early-stage environments. A background in healthcare or a regulated industry is helpful but not required. Most importantly, you have empathy for the patient experience and thrive in a role where you can drive meaningful, scalable impact every day.
We are based in downtown San Francisco and value in-person collaboration. Team members are required to be in the office 2-3 days each week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
At Haven, we offer a unique opportunity to work directly with experienced founders who have built and scaled successful healthcare companies. You'll receive meaningful equity in a venture-backed company tackling a massive problem, along with comprehensive healthcare benefits. Our hybrid work environment, with 2 - 3 days per week in our San Francisco office, provides flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Diversity is built into our DNA with a founding team representing POC, female, disabled, and LGBTQ+ founders. We strongly encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply — many successful candidates may not meet every requirement. Studies show underrepresented candidates often only apply when meeting 100% of qualifications; we'd love to hear from you even if you don't check every box.
