www.bioagilytix.com.We are looking for an experienced Manager, Human Resources to strengthen our team in Hamburg. In this role, you will lead the HR department at the Hamburg site and provide both strategic and operational support to a dynamic laboratory with up to 130 scientists. You will advise leaders and employees on all HR-related matters and ensure compliance with German labor law as well as internal policies. Ideally, you have practical experience in recruitment, working with the works council, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR), and implementing HR projects aimed at promoting engagement and performance.
Your Tasks:
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the Hamburg site, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the Works Council, ensuring compliance with German labor law and co-determination requirements.Coach and advise managers on performance feedback, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and change management.Lead employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, and corrective actions.Champion onboarding, employee engagement, and culture-building initiatives at the site level.Support performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs and interview processes; support candidate experience as needed.Coordinate HR actions with payroll and shared services partners, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and record-keeping requirements.
Your Profile:
7+ years of progressive HR experience with strong emphasis on HR Business Partnering and employee relations.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, orExperience working within German labor law and Works Council environments.Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.Consulting competence at eye level – even with unpleasant topics Intercultural competence and openness, especially in international exchange High level of service orientation and a structured way of working, hands‐on mentalityFamiliarity with BEM procedures, working time models and part-time arrangements Very good German and good English skills ‐ written and spoken
