To position Chartis for continued growth, we are looking for a talented professional to join the firm’s Learning team. We seek a Learning Manager whose focus will be to design, build or curate, deliver and manage formal and informal learning opportunities aligned with strategic business priorities, particularly in the areas of AI and analytics. The Learning Manager will work closely with Learning Team colleagues, subject matter experts and other key stakeholders to drive, evaluate, and manage current and future learning projects. These learning solutions will range from in-person, instructor-led workshops to virtual synchronous and asynchronous learning options. This role will focus initially on organization-wide skill-building in analytics and AI domains and may expand to include a broad set of content areas over time. Reporting to the Director of Learning, this role is critical to the firm’s plans to deepen the development of our remarkable talent and enable growth-focused AI & Digital transformation efforts for the firm’s Lines of Business (LOBs).
Serve as the portfolio owner for the Analytics curriculum, ensuring the creation and maintenance of a robust set of courses and development resources tailored to specific Line of Business needs (where appropriate) and providing a progressive pathway to build proficiency over time
Support the portfolio owner for the AI curriculum as needed, and collaborate closely on meeting learning needs at the intersection of analytics and AI (e.g., Snowflake, data cleansing, etc.)
Work closely with business leaders and SMEs to understand desired business outcomes and behaviors and translate those into learning solution requirements (i.e., learning objectives)
Execute the detailed design process for learning projects, creating the design using scope, needs assessment and conceptual design as input; create design documentation, including instructional method, delivery vehicle, content and timing.
Serve as a subject matter expert on instructional design and/or leading externally available learning content while consulting with internal stakeholders and SMEs to develop or select/curate course content
Project manage all aspects of learning programs and manage the budget by program.
Occasionally facilitate virtual and in-person learning programs, managing the event while teaming with colleagues to push the participants to deepen their knowledge/skill development.
Develop and deploy project communications, including (but not limited to) managing the business unit learning agenda/calendar and coordinating with others outside of the learning group as the point of contact (e.g., HIPAA training, compliance training).
Work with vendors to create/contextualize externally developed content for Chartis.
Identify on-demand content for specific audiences to meet specific needs.
Keep a growth mindset by evaluating learning events, researching external learning solutions and suggesting improvements.
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across all levels throughout the firm.
Minimum of five – seven years of progressive instructional design and facilitation experience; experience at a professional services firm is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required, focus on analytics, AI or instructional design a plus
Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning principles; experience designing for and developing events in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Lectora Inspire, Camtasia) is a plus
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Ability to synthesize content and communicate in concise, informative written communication
Thrives in a rapidly evolving, dynamic environment, high level of comfort with ambiguity
Flexible and a self-starter; able to manage multiple projects and processes while remaining extremely detail-oriented
Solution-oriented; creative problem solver
Highly collaborative; equally effective as a project leader and a team player
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
The role works remotely, however, some travel required (e.g., firm meetings, learning event facilitation)
Salary range: $95,500–145,500, plus, may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
