Position Overview

Assembler 1 assembles wood and hardware for all soft shades. Employees are responsible for individual compliance with all safety rules, regulations and policy procedures.

What you'll do

Receive soft shades after prepping and tacking.
Measure and verify the length for the board.
Check and confirm measurements for width accuracy.
Staple fabric and lining securely to the board.
Place soft shade on the squaring wall to ensure it is straight and aligned.
Attach safety labels to each completed shade.
Install appropriate hardware on the finished board.
Recheck measurements, patterns, tunnels, and overall quality.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who you are

High school graduate
Able to use and read a tape measure
General knowledge of fabrics
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Successfully pass color blind test
Capable of standing for extended periods of time
Capable of lifting on a continuous basis
Strong attention to detail
Follow written and verbal instructions
