We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing professional to drive operational excellence and lead the adoption of Manufacturing 4.0 (Industry 4.0) initiatives across our production facilities. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity, ensuring quality, and enabling digital transformation through automation, data-driven decision-making, and smart factory practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional manufacturing operations combined with hands-on experience in modern manufacturing technologies such as IoT-enabled systems, automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and IT to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure optimal productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Drive Manufacturing 4.0 / Industry 4.0 initiatives, including digitalization of shop-floor processes, automation, smart machines, and real-time performance monitoring.
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze manufacturing data using digital tools and dashboards to identify bottlenecks, improve throughput, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and IT teams to deploy smart manufacturing solutions such as MES, predictive maintenance systems, and IoT-based monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines across manufacturing operations.
- Support new product introductions (NPI), process validation, and scale-up of manufacturing processes.
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and production teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5–9 years of experience in manufacturing operations, process engineering, or manufacturing excellence roles.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing 4.0 / Industry 4.0 concepts, including automation, IoT, smart factories, MES, and data-driven manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in analyzing production metrics such as OEE, cycle time, yield, and downtime.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to robotics, PLCs, SCADA, or advanced automation systems.
- Experience with digital twins, AI/ML-driven manufacturing analytics, or predictive maintenance tools.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Industry 4.0 is a plus.
